The Ohio State Buckeyes have excelled in recruiting edge rushers for the 2025 cycle, securing three top-tier prospects.
These recruits—Zahir Mathis, Zion Grady, and London Merritt—are all four-star talents ranked among the top 200 nationally according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Despite their impressive acquisitions, the Buckeyes may soon land their most significant recruit yet.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett reports that Justin Hill, a four-star edge from Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH), will announce his commitment on Wednesday, July 3. Hill will choose between Ohio State, Oregon, USC, and Alabama. He ranks as the No. 48 player in the country, the No. 6 edge rusher, and the No. 4 player in Ohio, with the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine giving the Buckeyes a 93.1% chance to secure him.
