Ole Miss Key man enter transfer portal

Liam Doyle, Ole Miss’ standout addition to the pitching roster from last year’s transfer portal, has confirmed his intention to seek a new team this summer, according to Inside the Rebels. Speculation about Doyle’s status with Ole Miss for 2025 started circulating recently and has now been confirmed, just a day before the deadline for players to enter the transfer portal in December.

Doyle originally transferred to Ole Miss from Coastal Carolina and made a significant impact in his first year. He emerged as a bright spot for a team that narrowly made it to the SEC Tournament. During the 2024 season, Doyle appeared in 14 games, starting nine, and posted a 2-4 record. He recorded 72 strikeouts across 45.1 innings, conceding 42 hits, 35 runs (32 earned), 18 walks, and 10 home runs.
